Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Old Country House by Pang Jiun. The price achieved of HKD 630,000.00 (€ 75,496.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 490,000.00 – 790,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pang Jiun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monet’S Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 7,375,000.00 (€ 808,030.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Old Country House von Pang Jiun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 630.000,00 (€ 75.496,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 490.000,00 – 790.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pang Jiun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monet’S Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.375.000,00 (€ 808.030,41).
