Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Pang Jiun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 226,800.00 (€ 26,926.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pang Jiun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monet’S Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 7,375,000.00 (€ 808,030.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Pang Jiun kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 226.800,00 (€ 26.926,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pang Jiun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monet’S Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.375.000,00 (€ 808.030,41).
