Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ancient Alley by Pang Jiun was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 312,000.00 (€ 38,931.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pang Jiun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monet’S Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 7,375,000.00 (€ 808,030.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ancient Alley von Pang Jiun wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 312.000,00 (€ 38.931,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pang Jiun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monet’S Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.375.000,00 (€ 808.030,41).
