The work A Red Flowerpot(Painted in 1999) by Pang Jiun was auctioned at China Guardian in October last year. It achieved a price of HKD 204,000.00 (€ 26,141.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pang Jiun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monet’S Garden in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 7,375,000.00 (€ 808,030.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 36 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Red Flowerpot(Painted in 1999) von Pang Jiun kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 204.000,00 (€ 26.141,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pang Jiun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monet’S Garden im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.375.000,00 (€ 808.030,41).
