Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Tiga Petani (Three farmers) by Pande Ketut Taman. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 4,630.86). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pande Ketut Taman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Berisi Kosong, Kosong Berisi, which sold at auction in April 2008 for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,271.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tiga Petani (Three farmers) von Pande Ketut Taman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 4.630,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pande Ketut Taman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Berisi Kosong, Kosong Berisi beobachtet, die im April 2008 für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.271,42) versteigert wurde.
