Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Style by Pan Shou was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in December last year. The price achieved of AUD 2,460.00 (€ 1,564.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pan Shou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in October this year with an auction result of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 9,432.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Style von Pan Shou wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 2.460,00 (€ 1.564,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pan Shou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 9.432,63).
