Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Scholars under the Pine Tree by Pan He. The price achieved of HKD 12,500.00 (€ 1,435.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan He achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Strange Rocks in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,459.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scholars under the Pine Tree von Pan He zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.500,00 (€ 1.435,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan He erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Strange Rocks im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.459,32).
