This artwork by Pan Dawei achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Pine Branch And Rock sold for HKD 19,125.00 (€ 2,077.47) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pan Dawei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,353.52).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pan Dawei erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Pine Branch And Rock für HKD 19.125,00 (€ 2.077,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pan Dawei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.353,52) versteigert wurde.
