In August 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work 9719 by Pablo Siquier. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,378.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pablo Siquier - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sin título, which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 19,208.99).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im August 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit 9719 von Pablo Siquier zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.378,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pablo Siquier mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sin título beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 19.208,99) versteigert wurde.
