Upper estimate price exceeded by 56 %.
In September 2021 Christies held the auction Picasso Ceramics Online, which included the work Visage À La Barbiche (A.R. 601) by Pablo Picasso. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,907.94), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
