This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2012. In the Picasso Ceramics The Madoura Collection auction, the work Vase aztèque aux quatre visages sold for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 60,983.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 97 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im Juni 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Picasso Ceramics The Madoura Collection wurde die Arbeit Vase aztèque aux quatre visages für GBP 49.250,00 (€ 60.983,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
