The work Hibou by Pablo Picasso was sold in the Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction at Sothebys in London in February 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 64,068.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Die Arbeit Hibou von Pablo Picasso wurde im Februar 2016 in der Auktion Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 64.068,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
