Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pablo O'Higgins could be acquired at Christies in New York in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Maguey changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,012.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pablo O'Higgins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Milpa Alta in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 88,761.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo O'Higgins konnte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Art wechselte die Arbeit Maguey für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.012,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pablo O'Higgins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Milpa Alta im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 88.761,60).
