Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Houses by Otto H. Svensson was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.22). Admittedly, works by Otto H. Svensson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Houses von Otto H. Svensson im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,22) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto H. Svensson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,26).
