Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Otto Donald Rogers could be acquired at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Canadian Art auction, the work Restless Sea And Lifted Spirit changed hands for CAD 9,000.00 (€ 6,965.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Otto Donald Rogers have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2010 by the work Powerful Summer Storm at CAD 10,800.00 (€ 8,284.31).
