Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Artist'S Handmade Album by Otis Oldfield for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 9,651.84). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Chinese Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otis Oldfield - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Notes Of A Promenade With Yun Gee: Sutter'S Fort, Sacramento (A); Stevenson House, Monterey (B); Yosemite Trees - Our Camp (C) [Three Works|AID153726], which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 23,164.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Artist'S Handmade Album von Otis Oldfield für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 9.651,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Otis Oldfield mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Notes Of A Promenade With Yun Gee: Sutter'S Fort, Sacramento (A); Stevenson House, Monterey (B); Yosemite Trees - Our Camp (C) [Three Works|AID153726] beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 23.164,41) versteigert wurde.
