Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ossip Zadkine achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in June this year. In the Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion auction, the work Couple buvant sold for EUR 42,240.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ossip Zadkine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tête de jeune garçon in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 797,000.00 (€ 934,005.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ossip Zadkine erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion wurde die Arbeit Couple buvant für EUR 42.240,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ossip Zadkine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tête de jeune garçon im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 797.000,00 (€ 934.005,33).
