Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oil Lamp and Cranes (two works) by Oscar Rabin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,621.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oscar Rabin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian City With Moon (Socialist City), 1959 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 337,000.00 (€ 216,469.68).

Die Arbeit Oil Lamp and Cranes (two works) von Oscar Rabin kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.621,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oscar Rabin erzielen.
