Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Adam et Eve/ Adam and Eve by Oscar Rabin was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 25,600.00. Admittedly, works by Oscar Rabin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian City With Moon (Socialist City), 1959 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 337,000.00 (€ 216,469.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Adam et Eve/ Adam and Eve von Oscar Rabin kam im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 25.600,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oscar Rabin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian City With Moon (Socialist City), 1959 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 337.000,00 (€ 216.469,68).
