Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 34 - X 62 by Oskar Holweck was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2018. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oskar Holweck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 28.III.74 in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 15,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 34 - X 62 von Oskar Holweck wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oskar Holweck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 28.III.74 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.625,00.
