Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1954 by Oscar Chelimsky. It changed hands for a price of EUR 650.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oscar Chelimsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big open form #64 Reds stapled by red in July 2010 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1954 von Oscar Chelimsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 650,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oscar Chelimsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big open form #64 Reds stapled by red im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
