In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Woman And Mermaid; Women With Giraffe: Two Works by Orville Bulman for USD 7,188.00 (€ 5,433.52). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Orville Bulman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Voilá Partis in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 103,329.51).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Orville Bulman erzielen.
