The work Heves Kusu (Bird Of Desire) by Omer Uluc was sold in the Contemporary Art/ Turkish auction at Sothebys in London in April 2011. The price achieved of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 55,463.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Heves Kusu (Bird Of Desire) is the most expensive artwork by Omer Uluc that we have observed at auctions so far.
