Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Pharaonic Figures) by Omar El-Nagdi was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,134.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Omar El-Nagdi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Cavalier in November this year with an auction result of GBP 216,300.00 (€ 250,644.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Pharaonic Figures) von Omar El-Nagdi kam im Februar letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.134,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Omar El-Nagdi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Cavalier im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.300,00 (€ 250.644,66).
