Auction result misses estimated price range
In February last year a collector was able to acquire the work Lovers by Omar El-Nagdi for GBP 828.75 (€ 990.82). This price was achieved in the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Omar El-Nagdi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Cavalier in November this year with an auction result of GBP 216,300.00 (€ 250,644.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lovers von Omar El-Nagdi für GBP 828,75 (€ 990,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Omar El-Nagdi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Cavalier im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.300,00 (€ 250.644,66).
