Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work View from Söder Mälarstrand, Stockholm by Olof Ågren was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,587.71). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olof Ågren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View over Mosebacke square, Stockholm, which sold at auction in April 2013 for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 8,197.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit View from Söder Mälarstrand, Stockholm von Olof Ågren im Oktober 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.587,71) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Olof Ågren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View over Mosebacke square, Stockholm beobachtet, die im April 2013 für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 8.197,14) versteigert wurde.
