Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures, which included the work Two English Springer Spaniels on the watch by Charles-Olivier de Penne. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles-Olivier de Penne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Huntmaster with his Dogs on a Forest Trail in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 13,145.00 (€ 13,303.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two English Springer Spaniels on the watch von Charles-Olivier de Penne zur Versteigerung kam.
