Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still life with flowers on a table by Olga Alexandrova was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 6,000.00 (€ 805.49). Admittedly, works by Olga Alexandrova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colourful flowers in a sunny windowsill in June this year with an auction result of DKK 28,000.00 (€ 3,758.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still life with flowers on a table von Olga Alexandrova im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 6.000,00 (€ 805,49) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olga Alexandrova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colourful flowers in a sunny windowsill im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 28.000,00 (€ 3.758,97).
