Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Untitled (Århus I)”, 1963 by Ole Schwalbe for DKK 12,000.00 (€ 1,609.84). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ole Schwalbe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studie (Study) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,343.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Untitled (Århus I)”, 1963 von Ole Schwalbe für DKK 12.000,00 (€ 1.609,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ole Schwalbe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studie (Study) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.343,26).
