This artwork by Olaf Quantius achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in October 2020. In the SOR Rusche Collection - PART VII auction, the work "Spüle" sold for EUR 1,041.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 400.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Olaf Quantius; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pelikane sold at auction in April 2011 with the realized price of EUR 1,250.00.
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Olaf Quantius erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion SOR Rusche Collection - PART VII wurde die Arbeit "Spüle" für EUR 1.041,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Olaf Quantius; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pelikane im April 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 1.250,00.
