Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A townview in winter with figures conversing by Oene Romkes de Jongh. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,290.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oene Romkes de Jongh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Figures On A Frozen Canal In A Dutch Town, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 10,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A townview in winter with figures conversing von Oene Romkes de Jongh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.290,00 einen neuen Besitzer.
