Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Odoardo Borrani could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Italian Feeding Chickens changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,492.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Odoardo Borrani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian Feeding The Chickens in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 74,500.00 (€ 58,744.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Odoardo Borrani konnte im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit Italian Feeding Chickens für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.492,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Odoardo Borrani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian Feeding The Chickens im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 58.744,68).
