Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 1993 by Ode Bertrand was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in December 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,530.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ode Bertrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre (Série Des Tourah) - 1993, which sold at auction in March last year for EUR 5,248.00.

Die Arbeit Composition, 1993 von Ode Bertrand kam im Dezember 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.530,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ode Bertrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre (Série Des Tourah) - 1993 beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für EUR 5.248,00 versteigert wurde.
