Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work Rebirth of Adewa by Ocom Adonias. The price achieved of EUR 6,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Ocom Adonias have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2021 the work Here After, 2021 was auctioned for EUR 8,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rebirth of Adewa von Ocom Adonias zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ocom Adonias konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2021 die Arbeit Here After, 2021 für EUR 8.450,00 versteigert.
