Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "The Guest", 2021 by Nygårds Karin Bengtsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 42,000.00 (€ 3,556.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nygårds Karin Bengtsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Other Stories", 2016., which sold at auction in April this year for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 8,398.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "The Guest", 2021 von Nygårds Karin Bengtsson im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 42.000,00 (€ 3.556,96) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nygårds Karin Bengtsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Other Stories", 2016. beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für SEK 95.000,00 (€ 8.398,55) versteigert wurde.
