Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Treading Sacred Ground - II by Nusra Latif Qureshi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Indian Art Including Art from Pakistan and Sri Lanka auction at Christies in London in May 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,531.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nusra Latif Qureshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dreamlines, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,566.80).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.531,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 2.500,00.
