This artwork by Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in July 2008. In the Australian Aboriginal Art: Peter Los Collection auction, the work Seven Sisters Dreaming, 2007 sold for EUR 8,055.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bush Tucker Dreaming : My Father'S Country, 2007/2008, which sold at auction in July 2008 for EUR 24,784.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi erzielte im Juli 2008 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Australian Aboriginal Art: Peter Los Collection wurde die Arbeit Seven Sisters Dreaming, 2007 für EUR 8.055,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bush Tucker Dreaming : My Father'S Country, 2007/2008 beobachtet, die im Juli 2008 für EUR 24.784,00 versteigert wurde.
