Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boar Dash by Nozomu Uchida was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,583.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nozomu Uchida - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fresh Milk Station, which sold at auction in November 2015 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,847.09).

Die Arbeit Boar Dash von Nozomu Uchida wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.583,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nozomu Uchida mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fresh Milk Station beobachtet, die im November 2015 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.847,09) versteigert wurde.
