A top price for Norbert Benoit - as previously expected
In October this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Stoclet Collections, which included the work Sans titre by Norbert Benoit. The price achieved of EUR 38.40 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30.00 – 50.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sans titre is the most expensive artwork by Norbert Benoit that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Stoclet Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Norbert Benoit zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 38,40 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30,00 – 50,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sans titre das teuerste Kunstwerk von Norbert Benoit, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
