This artwork by Noémie Goudal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery auction, the work Combat (from the series Haven Her Body Was) sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,595.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Noémie Goudal; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Les Amants (Cascade) sold at auction in March 2017 with the realized price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,648.77).
