The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,911.96), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Noel Harry Leaver have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An ancient Arab city in February 2000 with an auction result of GBP 5,520.00 (€ 9,033.04).
