The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,564.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Noel Harry Leaver - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An ancient Arab city, which sold at auction in February 2000 for GBP 5,520.00 (€ 9,033.04).
