A top price for Niu Chao - as previously expected
In September 2019 Christies in Shanghai held the auction FIRST OPEN | Shanghai: Living With Art, which included the work A Rocky Abode by Niu Chao. The price achieved of CNY 108,000.00 (€ 13,855.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Rocky Abode is the most expensive artwork by Niu Chao that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im September 2019 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai: Living With Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Rocky Abode von Niu Chao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 108.000,00 (€ 13.855,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 90.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Rocky Abode das teuerste Kunstwerk von Niu Chao, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
