Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Nino Longobardi was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 700.00 – 900.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 612.00 (€ 574.43). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nino Longobardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Terrae morte in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 5,805.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nino Longobardi im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 612,00 (€ 574,43) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nino Longobardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Terrae morte im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.805,00.
