A top price for Nina Saunders - as previously expected
In September 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The Age of Reason by Nina Saunders. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,986.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Age of Reason is the most expensive artwork by Nina Saunders that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Age of Reason von Nina Saunders zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.986,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Age of Reason das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nina Saunders, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
