Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dolores by Nina Hamnett was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,621.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nina Hamnett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining Man, which sold at auction in March 2020 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,995.60).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.621,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nina Hamnett mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining Man beobachtet, die im März 2020 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.995,60) versteigert wurde.
