A top price for Nikos Nikolaou
In May 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Two Figures by Nikos Nikolaou. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,952.87), 44% above the upper estimate. With this result, Two Figures is even the most expensive work of art by Nikos Nikolaou that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Figures von Nikos Nikolaou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 105.952,87) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Two Figures sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nikos Nikolaou, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
