Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature morte by Nikos Engonopoulos was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 22,950.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikos Engonopoulos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scène homérique avec le héros / Scène homérique: épisode de la guerre de Troie in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 682,750.00 (€ 762,179.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nature morte von Nikos Engonopoulos wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 22.950,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikos Engonopoulos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scène homérique avec le héros / Scène homérique: épisode de la guerre de Troie im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 682.750,00 (€ 762.179,40).
