Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greek Pomegranates by Nikolaos Lytras was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2009. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 40,765.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolaos Lytras - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greekportrait Of The Painter Gerassimos Dialismas, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 90,000.00 (€ 132,441.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Greek Pomegranates von Nikolaos Lytras kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 40.765,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nikolaos Lytras mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greekportrait Of The Painter Gerassimos Dialismas beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 90.000,00 (€ 132.441,09) versteigert wurde.
