It achieved a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,127.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nikolai Nikolaevich Gritsenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Harbour, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 34,100.00 (€ 47,748.82).
